A Pirate Borg one-shot run on International Talk Like a Pirate Day, using PARROT BORG (Limithron, Patreon Alpha) — the scenario where the pirates go ashore and never come back, and it falls to the ship’s parrots to get them home.
Every player ran two characters: a pirate, and the parrot belonging to another player’s pirate. The parrots opened the session; the pirates entered play as they were rescued.
Campaign Info
System: Pirate Borg — scenario PARROT BORG (Limithron, Patreon Alpha)
GM: Andrew
Played: September 19, 2026 — International Talk Like a Pirate Day
Status: One-shot, completed. Explicitly left open for a return trip.
The premise: the crew took a treasure map off pirates the British had evicted from this island, and sailed here to dig it up. Hearing that the garrison’s commander keeps animals that eat parrots, they locked their birds in cages aboard ship, left the swabbie and his dog to mind them, and rowed ashore. Several days later the pirates had not come back, and the parrots let themselves out.

Where it ended
The crew escaped the island with everyone alive except Lucky Joe, roughly 5,000 silver in cut jewels, four cases of rum, a thousand silver from the sea cave, and one ghost put properly to rest.
Left undone: the commander’s manor was never touched, and nobody has forgotten it.
