Pirate — a sentient, clever monkey. Played by Killian.
Not a man. A normal-sized monkey who will do anything and be anything for material possessions — harassing people, conning them into bets, taking their things. He wears rags and carries a collection of stolen finery: a fancy hat, a fancy rapier.
He broke into a noblewoman’s manor once, saw a beautifully pampered parrot, and decided this I must have. He has pampered Chubs ever since. He rides on a pirate’s shoulders with a parrot riding on his.
Session 1 — Marley’s Bones
The last of the crew to be found, and the worst treated.
The redcoats had him at an observation post on the highest point of the island: chained by the leg, his face painted, a stolen pirate’s hat jammed on his head, made to dance while two of them fired muskets into the ground at his feet and shouted at him. In between they took potshots at birds and bats over the jungle — which is how Lucky Joe died, and how the birds found the post in the first place.
Freed after the ambush burned the tent down. He went straight up the post for the skull on top of it.
When Chubs came down and jumped into his arms, they were exactly the same size.
