Parrot — macaw. Played by Killian. Belongs to Lee Raggedy Carter.
A bright green macaw no bigger than a fist, in brown hairy hide armour, carrying a dagger. She speaks softly and carries a small sword, and mostly she does not speak at all. Lee won her off someone, not honestly.
Of all the birds she is the one who never lost sight of the job.
Session 1 — Marley’s Bones
She was the one who thought to search the captain’s cabin, and the one who read what was on the desk: a rough sketch of the island with a longboat drawn on it, lines to three possible landings, and a single large question mark.
On the tranquil beach she crept close enough through the palms to hear what the ghost was muttering — so many little feet, where am I, where could all my parts have gone — and close enough to see the musket hole through the skull.
She went into the crab artillery to lift the arm out, with baby crabs swarming up it as she climbed. She picked a guard’s key ring off his belt at the fort while Chubs held the man’s attention. She knocked a pistol off aim as it fired at Lee in the jail. And at the observation post she landed on a blinded man’s throat and opened it.
She was calm and collected all night, except at the jail, where she rushed in without waiting.
