Pirate — Brute. First name Red, last name Shirt. Played by Tucker.
A wussy, cowardly pirate afraid of ghosts, chickens and prime numbers, who is nonetheless an enormous brute of a man with rotten teeth and a lucky brass anchor he beats people with. He looks like what happens when a bum stumbles onto a pirate ship and then gets grungier.
He got his ghost parrot after lightning struck the mast, he fell, and the bird was the first thing he saw when he woke up. His therapist had suggested a parrot to help him face his fears. Since getting it he has been afraid of everything.
Session 1 — Marley’s Bones
Spent the entire raid hidden in the sea cave above the beach, in the dark, with the bats screeching overhead — which was why the bats were complaining to anyone who would listen about the man making noise in their cave.
He had found a small chest he could not get open, and had been sitting there for days building little houses out of the silver inside it. A thousand pieces.
He was found last, after Lucky Joe was already dead. Something had lifted off him by then. He began speaking with a British accent, asked for a cup of tea to ponder the situation, and started to wonder aloud whether there had ever been a bird at all.
