Jetties stacked with cargo, dock workers loading crates of fruit, and two monkeys harassing them for it with total fearlessness. A Royal Navy frigate flying the Union Jack lies at the end of the largest dock, crewed and patrolled at all hours.
A sign on the dock reads the fate of all pirates. Beneath it, an iron gibbet hangs from a hook on a wooden post — two skeleton legs and a pelvis wedged loosely inside it.
A large rat called Sebastian lives in the gibbet and considers it taken.
