Where: The public warehouse in Bitter End
Found: Session 2 Recap - Three to the Dawn
Three sealed crates that had come from Godshome, nailed shut, the only cargo in the warehouse bound into the Bitter Market. A caravan horse had told Korath that such crates were new on the road and smelled strange. Each held a living person, curled in straw and drugged or poisoned into a deep, unnatural sleep that shaking could not break. None was bound. They didn’t look related.
- A young man in his early twenties, dressed like a farmhand, healthy, breathing slow and shallow.
- A young woman of about the same age.
- A man in his thirties in better clothes, possibly a merchant.
Burned into the side of one crate in thieves’ cant were the mark of the The Nameless Ledger and the words precious cargo (or high-value cargo). The warehouse is public; it doesn’t belong to the Baronet.
The party left them where they were and went on with their job. Their fate is unknown.
