Player: Tucker (secondary character)
Race: Elf
Class: Witch
Appearance
An elf of unsettling nature, as though her fae ancestors had been thrown into demonic lava. Tall and lanky, with jaundiced yellow eyes and skin, black hair framed by a pair of ram’s horns, and a tail she wraps around her waist like a belt. Her attire and make-up are a gothic mixture that recalls the cultists of Shune the Vile, though personalized with bits of nature: black eyeshadow, black lipstick, cultish sorcerous garb stylized and tailored for wandering the swamps, and a vivid black-and-orange cloak patterned after a poison dart frog. She keeps a frog familiar named D. Boone.
Origins
Born Lilliana, to a modest family of elves, she was a child with a vivid imagination and vivid dreams — so vivid she kept a dream journal to hold on to the details, events, people and places she found there.
In one of those dreams she met a witch. Its face was cloaked in shadow, but its arms were elongated, crooked, and covered in boils. It pointed at Lily and said: “Go to Lyohna, and your dreams will come true.”
She took the sign to heart. When she came of age she left home and travelled to Lyohna, a fae village, where she joined a coven. There she met another aspiring witch, Randoah of Oak, who was also troubled by persistent dreams. Together they found that their dreams could be more than signs of divination — people, places and things could be conjured from them.
Lilliana became obsessed with conjuring dreams. One night she worked a ritual to bring an imaginary friend into the world, and made a large green dart frog: D. Boone.
In a conversation about the witch hunts in the world beyond Lyohna, Lily mused that dream-weaving could give a spellcaster a great deal of power — imagine conjuring creatures and weapons that only, well, dreams can muster. That’ll give the witch-finders something to fear. Randoah’s feelings on the matter are her own.
Weeks later, an explosion tore through Lily’s home and strange creatures began rampaging through the village. Lilliana disappeared. Some say she died in the blast. Others pass on rumours of another witch skulking in the swamps and marshlands — one who goes by Lily of the Valley.
