Character
Glint is a pirate, and by his own reckoning he had no say in the matter. He holds that the only road open to him runs through pillage and trouble — that the money to lift his parents out of ruin is not going to come from honest carpentry, and that someone in the family has to be willing to take it where it sits. He frames the chaos he causes as a necessity rather than an appetite: not something he wants, something he owes.
Origins
His parents, Madi and Tilber Crustoe, are carpenters. His father’s gambling ran the family into a debt they could not work off, and Glint was recruited by pirates against it — his labor set against what Tilber owed.
He shipped aboard the Ruslaw, sailing under the banners of Captain Bane, whose colors carry the image of an aboleth carcass. Glint started at the bottom as a wiper and worked his way up to boatswain.
GM Note
Secondary character, not yet brought into play. Manny’s primary is Ulfgar Kegbreath. Open threads worth using: whether the debt to Tilber’s creditors is still outstanding, whether Captain Bane and the Ruslaw are still afloat and still expect Glint back, and what an aboleth carcass on a pirate banner is meant to advertise.
