Role: Castle kitchen witch
A hunched, warty-nosed witch ruling over a giant, transformed kitchen deep in Castle Ravenloft, delighted at the sight of the shrunken, mouse-sized party come to visit her domain. She commanded a barn-sized cauldron holding a trapped, screaming priest and a swarm of oversized spiders and frogs, and personally seized Brielle and hurled her into the boiling cauldron during the fight. She was ultimately killed by the party, who cleared the last of her giant vermin shortly after.
GM Note
In Session 2, well after this witch’s death, Enki encountered a naked, green-hued, elderly woman sweeping the floor of a hidden study near the castle’s belfry, cackling about guests who “leave stains” before shushing him and plunging the room into darkness. The resemblance to this witch is almost certainly deliberate — whether she’s a second, related witch, a lingering spectral echo of this one, or something else entirely is an open question worth resolving at the table.
