Overview
A dwarven settlement long thought lost to whatever cataclysm first loosed the demons on the folk of the Gloaming. It has been written off for generations.
A troupe of dwarven miners who recently sold iron to Marin’s Hold reported finding a gatehouse in the northern mountains. They investigated far enough to hear the moaning of their long-dead kin, and then they left.
The job board’s pitch is treasure. That is the miners’ framing, not a confirmed fact.
Open Questions
- What was the cataclysm, and did Brakenhoorg cause it, suffer it, or both?
- The moaning suggests the dead are still there and still active.
- Would Ulfgar Kegbreath — a dwarf with no living kin he can name — have any connection here?
