Session: Session 5 Recap - The Fairy Path
Morning (still at the thicket camp): Gor butchered the moose; the party carried what it could and left the rest for the Spider Queen. Brielle told tales of the Fairy Path; Ulfgar climbed and marked the way; Ivek blessed Gor again.
Afternoon: Back onto the Fairy Path to the Hangman’s Tree. The apple retrieved; the tree left standing. The path’s tiles give out beyond the clearing.
Camp: Some miles south, a dry hollow in a rocky hillside, up off the ground and reached by a rope pulled up after them. Set by Ulfgar (defensible, sheltered).
Watch work: Gor preserved the moose, losing half to mould; Brielle sang, croakily; Ivek cooked.
Supper: Ivek’s hearty moose stew with stomach-settling herbs.
Night: Fog among the trees; quiet. Grey morning.
