Session: Session 5 Recap - The Fairy Path
Weather: Drizzle at dawn, clearing to grey by noon.
Camp: Moved into the densest thicket nearby, hidden and out of the rain. Set by Ivek (hidden, sheltered).
Watch work: Gor dressed the two wolves (the alpha’s soft white winter pelt kept) and preserved much of the meat as pemmican; Brielle re-hung the cans and foraged beech nuts; Ulfgar tended his own wounds with a poultice, then cooked; Ivek blessed Gor with luck. Evening: Ivek climbed a tree and saw the Hangman’s Tree; Brielle juggled daggers; Ulfgar retold the wolf fight; Gor hunted and brought down a bull moose.
Supper: Ulfgar’s wolf-and-berry stew with turnips and potatoes — the best meal of the trip.
Night: Clear and cold, coals under the bedding. A full night’s rest; everyone woke whole.
