Player: Seth
Role: Teamster
Appearance
Forty-five, with a glorious black mullet — flat and short on top, long and shaggy down the back of the neck — and a heavy black mustache running out into several days of stubble. Slender to the point of looking unwell: the build of a man who drinks and smokes and does not much bother with food. His face is deeply lined and leathery, cured by too much sun and too little of everything else. Thick black shades, always — wraparound and opaque, the outer corners swept out into long sharp points past his temples. There is usually a cigarette burning in the corner of his mouth.
He wears a black jean jacket, worn grey at the seams and stitched in orange, with the sleeves cut away and the raw shoulders left to fray, over a hot pink tank top, jeans with the ankles rolled, and mismatched Converse high tops, one black and one pink. Esoteric symbols are tattooed across his body — thick angular black glyphs, triangles and hooked sigils, spread over his chest and up both arms — with a cherry inked on his neck below the right ear. In his front vest pocket he keeps a pack of cigarettes and a spiral-ring notepad in which he records every one of his psychedelic trips.

The Price of Air
Weaver is aboard The Second Chance pulling his weight where he can. He accompanied the crew down to Siddhartha’s Peace and stayed behind to guard the shuttle at the landing field while the rest of the crew dealt with the colony.
Weaver slept through the entire boarding of The Second Chance, curled up in an engineering crawlway, and had to be pinged awake repeatedly by Bennett II before he understood there were pirates in the shuttle bay. He then quietly saved the ship twice: undoing the sabotage on both engines — the fuel lines had been left wide open to detonate the tanks the instant anyone lit them — and, cigarette in his teeth and spanner in his fist beneath a wall of NO SMOKING placards, making the final cut that shut down the sixty-second reactor self-destruct with a second to spare.
Weaver went down at the bottom of the reactor pit while working on the sabotaged reactor, dropped by carbon dioxide pooling in the low ground of the compartment before anyone knew the scrubbers had been cut. Benny Letcher went in after him and fell beside him; it took Arnold in a rebreather and a paracord hoist rigged with Jackal to get them both out. Weaver never woke up — Gaal got him onto oxygen and onto blood-scrubbing in the med bay, and he was still under when the ship docked.
Back on his feet once the ship docked, Weaver went out onto the hull with Dixie Doss to repair the bent sensor array above the cockpit, steadying her through the work, and was the one who pulled loose the cable snarled in the dish — a severed grapple line ending in a spear-tip, Tanya’s line from the night before.
