Overview
Prospero’s Dream is the crew’s home station — a jagged, forty-kilometer scar of black iron and blinding neon drifting through deep space. It’s a lawless megacity built inside a hollowed-out asteroid and expanded over centuries with scrap metal, salvaged ship hulls, and corporate waste. There is no law here, only the market and the price of survival: every breath carries a literal price tag, and life-support meters will cut a resident’s oxygen the moment their account hits zero. New arrivals are processed through a clean room and issued an oxygen credit stick before they’re allowed to walk the station proper, and everyone doing business here — legitimate or otherwise — operates under the same unwritten code: pay the oxygen tax, carry your seller’s license, and don’t make trouble Q-Team has to clean up.
