Sent by the ship to stop the crew’s break for the hangar: a golem built from scavenged wreckage and grafted flesh, self-repairing, pulling up scrap as it moved and healing in real time. It snapped Melina’s neck, very nearly took Jerry’s throat, and was only slowed by Ned’s flare gun. Its arm stretched after the departing dropship as a long elongating tendril before falling away limp.
